    Web conferencing

    The seminaries use the Adobe Acrobat Connect system to provide online webcasts and conferences, allowing persons at a distance to see, hear, and even participate in events and meetings. To use the system, you will need the following:

    • A modern computer (ie. one able to watch Youtube or other online videos).
    • A broadband internet connection, such as DSL or cable.
    • Speakers (or a set of headphones).

    If you would like to test your computer and internet connection beforehand, you can use the Acrobat Connect Test Connection. 

    Connecting from any internet-connected computer (with speakers or a set of headphones) is simple:

    1. Click the link for your event (posted to the web or sent by email).
    2. Select "Enter as a Guest," and enter your name and location (ie. "Your Name, Yourplace, Yourstate").
    3. Click [Enter Room].
    4. The webcast will display in your browser window.
