    There are a variety of situations in which you might want to allow someone without a seminary account to look at your course site, such as:

    • Giving a prospective student an online 'tour'
    • Sharing course design ideas with a colleague from another institution

    Moodle provides a simple mechanism for granting such access. Here's how:

    Adding participants to the course site

    To add participants (students, TAs, supporting instructors), youe the "Assign roles" link in the "Administration" section in the left column of the page. Click on the "Assign roles" link, and you'll see links for the various roles that you can assign people to, along with descriptions of what users with that role are allowed to do in the course site. Click on the desired roles, and you'll be taken to a page from which you can select users from the
